Forge of Empires Modern Age Army Defending: Livening Up PvP with Dynamic Defense Strategies

In Forge of Empires, some players tend to overlook the importance of building a robust military infrastructure, opting instead for a peaceful approach. To shake things up, I propose introducing dynamic defense armies that adapt to the attacking player's age. This would mean that instead of facing the same generic two-spear defense every time, players would encounter a diverse range of units, from two spears to a full army of the attacking player's age. This approach would not only inject more excitement and unpredictability into PvP battles but also give defenders a glimmer of hope in their defensive efforts.

The game-generated siege armies currently available in Guild Versus Guild (GvG) provide a similar concept, where players are presented with unique and varied armies tailored to the opposing guild's level. This feature has been well-received by the community, and a similar implementation for PvP would likely have a similarly positive impact.

By introducing dynamic defense armies that adapt to the attacking player's age, Forge of Empires can revitalize its PvP experience, making it more engaging and rewarding for both attackers and defenders. Attackers would have an excellent chance of obtaining more points and having fun, while defenders would finally have a better opportunity to mount a meaningful defense.

In addition to improving the overall PvP experience, this feature would also encourage players to build and invest in their military infrastructure, rather than relying solely on default defenses. This, in turn, would promote a more balanced and engaging gameplay environment where players are incentivized to participate and interact with one another.

Ultimately, introducing dynamic defense armies that adapt to the attacking player's age has the potential to revolutionize the PvP experience in Forge of Empires, providing a fresh and exciting challenge for players of all levels.
